if i'm going to get "fat", i'm going to make it fun

First, let me say this, I really have had no problem gaining the weight that comes with carrying a sweet baby in my belly, It's a natural part of the process and while it is a little weird (specially seeing this bum of mine growing almost right along with my belly) I actually find it quite endearing knowing the cause of it all.

So anyways..... Back to making all of this fun- I am a lover of parties and events, so it only seamed right to throw a gender party to tell our dear friends if this baby is a boy or girl. After the ultra sound, which will always be one of my very favorite moments in this pregnancy, I ran to the grocery store buying everything pink and blue. I made cupcakes with a blue filling, whipped marshmallow frosting, and then topped it off with either a pink or blue candy. The guests would vote, take a cupcake that matched their vote, then bite into the cupcake to see what the verdict was. We had Lance's best friends an my best friends there-the best crowd we could've asked for. And telling our dear friends couldn't have been more fun.
